A note on the UK Film Council
A tweet just now from Krishnan Guru-Murthy:
Film Council item we hoped for tonight is dropped because they refused to debate the minister. strange. usually other way around.
It seems they know they are a pointless organisation. Indeed, a friend who works at the BFI told me that the people working at the BFI were glad at the UKFC’s demise.
